Introduction Edit

Sybil is the title for a true Clairvoyant. Sybils in the Pythia Court are trained from childhood to understand the burden and how to bear it. The Pythia's power has passed in an unbroken tradition for thousands of years through the Sybils, from which the Heir is found.[1] True Sybils are rare.[2]

1. Touch the DarkEdit

In Dante's parking lot, a Dark Mage addresses Cassie as "Sybil"—he says it's her proper title.[5] Pritkin states that he claims expected to find a cassandra, a fallen sybil, but found something much worse—a Lamia demon.[6] The current Heir, a Sybil, was kidnapped by Rasputin six month previously. Pritkin assumes she must be dead for why else would the power come to Cassie, a rogue with no training, no understanding of what the position entails.[7] She, Myra, has been helping Rasputin attack Senate members. [8]
